Excellent reception, staff remembered to wish my husband a happy birthday and we were greeted with cake and balloons in our room, a lovely touch!

I like the consistency of the Hyatt Regency Blackfriars in being a very good hotel. I would visit again.
Breakfast option too expensive. Also the fact that there are two entrances at the Hotel and usually taxi drivers do not know that they need to pick up visitors from Kingcote Street. More notices would be great.

The location is fantastic to get to/from the airport to anywhere in the city, it is quiet, rooms are generous, beds incredibly comfy. Dinner at the City Lounge was delicious too. The gym is new and well equipped.
It's a bit older and not a classic 5-star but worth the value; I would not stay here for a romantic get-away but it's ideal for a busy city trip.
